Who we serve

We hope to engage with congregations and faith communities that are filling a role in the broader community, collaborating with other congregations, and/or looking to share stories of the integral role that they play in the success of rural places.

How we support rural congregations and ministry leaders

Through audio storytelling, documentary work and written stories, Rural Strategies will show how rural faith communities can bring people together, serve as anchors in small towns and the countryside, and help drive solutions for rural America’s biggest challenges. The project also aims to convene faith leaders and their congregations — to listen, to learn, and to support relationships within and across communities.

We are using the skills of Rural Strategies staff members through our Rural Assembly and Daily Yonder programs as well as using some external contractors.
